I am suggesting that each of you revise your cover email based on my feedback before sending it to your journal editor.\u00a0\u00a0Outlining your paper will likely help you refine your article\u2019s abstract. I am happy to take a look at your revised cover letter email before you send it out.\u00a0\u00a0The goal, though, is to send your cover email out by 10\/15 or so, and then, let us know if you got a response from the editor before our class meeting on 10\/25.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><b>BASE GROUP CHECK-IN\/CHECK-OUTS:<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Please\u00a0<b><u>Check-in<\/u><\/b>\u00a0with your Base Group at the beginning of the week by answering the Base Group\u00a0<i>Check-in questions<\/i>\u00a0early in the week (e.g., Tues or Wed) and then,\u00a0<b><u>Check-out<\/u><\/b>\u00a0by answering the\u00a0<i>Check-out questions<\/i>\u00a0at the end of the week.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">1) Login to the course website.\u00a0<br \/>2) Then, go to that week\u2019s\u00a0<b>schedule page<\/b>\u00a0and find the Base Group Check-in (or Check-out) question for the week (e.g.,\u00a0<b>W6 October 4-10 Asynch Online<\/b>\u00a0from the drop-down menu)<br \/>3) Email or otherwise contact your Base Group members when you have Checked-in and Checked-out to let them know you have done so.
